Friday 2nd March. In Like a Lamb

This week seeing the start of March with mild temperatures, very little wind and fog in the mornings, Frank was curious of these sheep as they were of him.
Rye Harbour pools' islands now complete with Golden Plover and Lapwing taking up residency straight away.

The first Med Gulls have arrived there too.

Back at Pannel on the scrape numbers of Gulls are building up I counted 40 plus Meds.

On Wednesday at Glyne gap 65 Turnstone and 3 Grey Plover on the beach. 4 Great Crested Grebes and a drake Mallard were on the sea. At Cooden Beach 40 plus Great Crested and 1 Slavonion Grebe.

A trip out on Thursday pm around Brede and Footland Woods was dissappointing lots of Tits
Coal Tit
Coal Tits, Marsh, Longtailed, Blue, and Great were calling but very little else other than a few Siskins and 6 Crossbills flew over.
